Beta Sigma Sigma Gamma was founded May 31, 1889 by seven rural agriculture students. Five of the Original Seven went on to found the Anti-Anti-Temperance League, protecting the rights of drinkers everywhere until that dark day in 1920, when the chapters disbanded, and all evidence of existence was lost. Two died when their still exploded after an unfortunate attempt to mix lemonade moonshine and beer. Our men in the Appalachians discovered the chapter's papers hidden in caves in the early 1990's, and have spent the last 20 years decoding and restoring the true mission of Beta Sigma Sigma Gamma, including references to the First Keg, shown on the shirt.
